Puja Process

1.Purification (Shuddhi )Wash hands and face; if possible take a bath or at least do achaman (sip a little clean water)
2. Clean the altar/mandir area with a cloth; arrange murti or photo of the deity neatly.
3. Sit facing east or north, keep a calm posture, and mentally dedicate these few minutes to Bhagwan.
4. Light the diya; this symbolizes removing darkness and ignorance from life.
5. Offer fresh flowers, tulsi leaves, or, if not available, akshata (unbroken rice grains) with devotion.
6. Choose one simple mantra or nama-japa according to diety minnimum 108 times
